Now the executive producer A.M.Rathnam officially confirmed the release date . He declared this in a press release and also added though the shooting process of the film is complete and the post production work is going on . He was all in praise of the music director Yuvan shankar Raja and predicted that the music of Yuvan will be a great musical treat to the fans . Ajith's 'Arrambam' Overtakes 'Thalaivaa' and 'Singam 2'

Here is good news for Ajith fans. The theatrical rights of "Arrambam" for Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Ooty and Erode areas have been sold for a whopping undisclosed amount.<br/><br/>Cosmo Pictures has acquired the theatrical rights for these areas from "Arrambam" producer AM Rathnam. Confirming the news, senior film journalist Sreedhar Pillai tweeted, "#Arrambam - TN 1st area sale - Coimbatore sold by producer 2 leading distributor Cosmo Shiva, 4 a whopping amount."<br/><br/>This is the highest ever paid for a Ajith film till date. "Arrambam" price value has crossed the amount paid for the recent releases - Vijay's "Thalaivaa" and Suriya's "Singam 2." Only Rajinikanth's Endhrian ("Robot"), which was purchased for a record price in the aforementioned areas, is ahead of "Arrambam", Cosmo Pictures' Shiva told Behindwoods.<br/><br/>Directed by Vishnu Vardhan, "Arrambam" boasts of a multi-star cast including Ajith, Arya, Nayanthara,Taapsee Pannu and Rana Daggubati.<br/><br/>Expectations from the film have skyrocketed, thanks to Ajith's star power. Moreover, the combination of Ajith-Vishnu Vardhan is sought-after by the fans following the success of their 2007-release "Billa."<br/><br/>"Arrambam" is a fast-paced, action-drama film that will impress Ajith fans, according to the director. The shooting of the film is on the verge of completion and the unit will begin post-production work and the audio launch after the final shooting schedule. I'm a big fan of Ajith - Vidharth

<p style="text-align: justify;">He’s currently on a career high with several films up his sleeve, and actor Vidharth is loving every moment of it. The trailer of his movie Aal, directed by Anand Krishna is out and his trendy look and stylish body language in the action thriller is drawing compliments. Another highlight of his career is sharing screen space with Thala Ajith in Siruthai Siva’s film, playing his brother. And Vidharth is on cloud nine, after the experience.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">“I’m a big fan of Ajith,” he confesses to CE in a chat. “So, acting with him was a dream come true. But after the shoot, I have become proud of being his fan. I have never seen someone so humane and down-to-earth as him.” Vidharth goes on to relive the experience, “Whenever he met anyone, he would stand up and greet them.When it became too hot, he had fans installed in every room for the workers. Everyday he would knock on my caravan and enquire about my well being, food and comfort. A big star like him needn’t have done that! Even I have two assistants, but he has only one! Rain or sun, he wouldn’t use an umbrella but just put a shirt over his head and proceed. I have never seen any star doing such things and I got very emotional at the end of the shoot.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">The one thing I have learnt from him is humility.” Looks like 2013 is going to be a good year for the Mynaa hero. He has a spate of films, with interesting roles. In Venmegham, directed by twins Ram-Lakshman, he plays a painter while in Jannal Oram, directed by Karun Palaniappan, he’s a watchman. In Ula, directed by Rajan Madhav, he plays a rowdy gang leader while in Meera Kadiravan’s Vizhithiru he’s a thief.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Director SP Rajkumar has the actor playing a bus driver in Pattaya Kalappanum Pandiya. Vidharth is happy the way things are going, despite the slow run rate post Mynaa.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">“I never went searching for work. People chose me for my acting after Mynaa showcased my skills. So far, I have no regrets. Success or failure doesn’t affect me. But if someone says I’m not a good actor, that would be cause for concern and make me work harder. At the end of the day, doing justice to each character is my priority!” concludes Vidharth.</p>

Suza Kumar In Ajith's Next Flick :<br/><br/>Ajith Kumar's 54th movie, which is under production with the working title Vinayagam Brothers, is set to wrap up by the year end. It is a multi-starrer movie with Ajith, Tammana Bhatia, Santhanam Vidharth, Munish and Suhail in the lead roles. The latest buzz says, Suza Kumar of Ethir Neechal fame has been roped in to play Vidharth's love interest role in the movie. The pretty actress was seen early in this year's Ethir Neechal, starring Sivakarthikeyan.<br/><br/>Sources said, “Suza Kumar has accepted the role just because it is Ajith's film, she feels blessed to grab a chance in Thala's movie, and she is surprised by hearing the fact that she is actually got to meet Ajith.” The crew is working on their toes, and the movie is slated to release for January 2014 Pongal festival. Tamannah mobbed after shoot with Ajith

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia was Friday mobbed by anti-Telangana activists here and was asked to comment on the separation of the state. However, the actress refused to oblige. "She was on her way to the sets of Ajith Kumar's upcoming Tamil film. Her car was stopped while she was heading towards Odisha from Vizag (Vishakhapatnam) by a group of anti-Telangana activists and was asked to chant slogan in favour of Andhra Pradesh," said a source from the film's unit.<br/><br/>"Her father told us about the incident. Apparently, neither did Tamannaah chant the slogan nor supported the division of the state. She told them that she treats everybody alike and didn't want to comment on the issue. They didn't cause any trouble and let her go when she refused to comment," he added.<br/><br/>On July 30, it was announced that Andhra Pradesh would be divided to carve out a separate Telangana state. Tamannaah, who is known for her Telugu films such Ayan, Paiyaa and Siruthai, was last seen in 'Venghai' opposite Dhanush in Tamil. She will soon be seen in Ajith's untitled flick with director Siva.

Ajith's plan for 2014

<p style="text-align: justify;">With Vishnuvardhan's 'Arrambam' shooting wrapped and Siruthai Siva's flick announced to hit the screens for Pongal 2014, Thala Ajith would soon be wrapping up the shoot for Siva's untitled film. While the fans would be eager to know about Ajith's future projects, the star actor has decided to take a break. Owing to his leg and back injuries, Ajith has decided to take a break for the next one year.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">The star is currently undergoing physiotherapy for his injuries and will undergo a surgery probably in mid October this year. He will have to recuperate for at least four months after that. Any new project will be decided upon only after that. <p style="text-align: justify;">Ajith Kumar 53rd Movie Arrambam is a Indian Tamil action thriller film directed by Vishnuvardhan. Produced by A. Raghuram, the film will feature Ajith Kumar, Arya, Nayantara and Taapsee Pannu playing lead roles. At first a teaser released without the title and became a popular video on YouTube On 1 May 2013, coinciding with Ajith Kumar's birthday with most views and likes. And later the film titled as Arrambam the title also got a great response from the fans and this also creates a record in social networks like facebook and twitter fans where created more than 100 fb pages in the name Arrambam . and the The Songs where expected to releasing on Aug 15 and the Movie releasing on Sep 13.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">In September 2011, producer A. M. Rathnam stated that he was working in a project with Ajith Kumar. Ajith will be possessing salt and pepper look from Mankatha and also hitting gym to build body in a good shape. Vishnuvardhan in an interview opened up about the film that "I am planning to work on a drama, more on family action drama."<br/>The film was initially reported to be titled as Surangani, but was in January 2013 stated by "A source in the know" to be Valai. Although not officially confirmed, the film was henceforth referred to as Valai by the media. Vishnuvardhan, who was at Anna University’s Gateway 2013 Short Film Festival by the Department of Media Sciences revealed that that the film was not titled Valai, adding that two titles were under consideration. The film title was not revealed until the post production of the film. A teaser was also released without the title and became a popular video on YouTube. And after that a lots of rumor coming our as the film titled as Paravai , Retta Thala etc finally Ajith Kumar 53 rd team officially announced the Title as Arrambam.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Nayantara was the female lead. Next Vishnuvardhan approached Arya for another lead role. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music for the film. Richa Gangopadhyay was initially considered for the second female lead. Later Taapsee Pannu was selected for her role. It is also reported that Arvind Swamy and Prithviraj Sukumaran will play pivotal roles and Telugu actors Akkineni Nagarjuna, Ravi Teja and Jagapathi Babu will have cameo appearances in the film. Mahesh Manjrekar will be essaying the role of a villain in the film. Suman Ranganathan has been cast role of a reporter. Furthermore, the director approached Rana Daggubati for an important role in this film. Rana Daggubati will do a "special appearance". Rana took part in the shooting in Mumbai. Kishore would enact an Anti-terrorist squad member, claimed to be a prominent role in the film. Akshara Gowda stated that she was also part of the film. Prashant Nair informed that he had a small role in this film.<br/>Stephen Richter will be working stunts in this film. Sunil Babu was initially called in as the art director but opted out later, with Ilaiyaraja taking his place. P. S. Vinod was replaced by Om Prakash as cinematographer. Vishnuvardhan's wife Anu Vardhan, who had worked on all of her husband's film, was in charge of costume designing in this film as well.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Yuvan Shankar Raja was signed on to compose the film's soundtrack and score. Ajith's high octane stunt in Orissa

<p style="text-align: justify;">Actor Ajith who is busy working with his next untitled movie with Siruthai Siva with Tamannah playing his pair, is off to Orissa to shoot a high octane train chase sequence for the film. The sequence whould be shot with Ajith along with his brothers fighting it out with the villain Paresh Rawal. The film revolves around Ajith and his brothers essayed by Vidarth, Bala, Munish and Suhail.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">The shooting of the stunt sequence is scheduled to be wrapped in a weeks time. <p style="text-align: justify;">Ajith has just completed the first schedule of his next film, which is directed by Siruthai Siva, with Tamannaah as female lead. The untitled film also has Vidharth playing Ajith’s brother in the cast. The storyline has been kept under wraps and the shoot has been going on pretty much hush hush in Andhra Pradesh.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Now CE has learnt that one more actor has joined the film. Chennai-based Suza Kumar, who debuted opposite Sivakarthikeyan in Dhanush’s production Ethirneechal, has now bagged a major role in the film.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Disclosing the news, Suza says, “I play the girlfriend of Vidharth, who is Ajith’s brother in the film. I’m very excited and I said yes to the project as soon as I heard it was an Ajith film. <p style="text-align: justify;">Ajith's 53rd flick with Vishnuvardan is in its final stage of shooting and Ajith has shifted towards the next movie with Siva of ‘Siruthai’ fame. Now the project is schedule to take off and the actor has joined the shoot of this movie which is supposed to take place on Wednesday (June 5) in Rajahmundry.
