Ajith and Vijay roles in 'Biryani'

Biriyani teaser was released on Karthi's birthday and got an excellent response. This movie is directed by Venkat Pradhu and the director is well known for his excellent movies like Chennai 28, Mankatha etc. He has a good relationship with the actors in Tamil cine industry. He worked with ‘Thala’ in Mankatha was a huge hit.

During Mankatha shoot he was very much attached with Ajith. The actor made some hot biriyani on the set for the entire unit and it was a talk of the town. Now Ajith is revealed that, even though he is not acting in Biriyani, he is a part of the project as in the title.

Interestingly 'Biriyani' was proposed to Ilayathalapthy Vijay. Venkat Prabhu planned it with a one liner for Vijay but finally it goes to Karthi. The actor tried his voice for a song in this movie. This is the first time that Karthi has taken to the mike for a song. Anyway Biriyani seems to have shaped up well and it is expected to give a huge hit for Karthi, whose previous releases have been failures.

Ajith is best after MGR Cho Ramaswamy

Bollywood superstar praises Ajith Kumar

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan was present in Chennai to attend the 7th Vijay Annual Awards to receive the Chevaliar Sivaji Ganeshan Excellence Award. Shahrukh Khan and Ajith had acted together in ‘Asoka’ more than 10years back and still they share a healthy relationship. On the occasion Shahrukh Khan openly confessed that he didn’t knew that Ajith Kumar is such a big personality down here in South.

While speaking about Ajith, he said that, “Ajith is a very sweet chap. He played a small role in Asoka, and that time I never knew how big a star he was. He did not take money for the role and his wife is also very sweet. He stayed with us for five days and even he had a back injury, so we got talking about that. Today when I mentioned his name, people won’t stop clapping. Now only I realized how big a star he was".

Ajith’s dedication towards his profession

It is already reported that director Vishnuvardhan desired shooting the climax portion in Kulu Manali for the upcoming untitled flick with Thala Ajith. Ajith's dedication and professionalism towards his work is well known.

The latest is that the actor drove his bike from Delhi to the shooting spot of Kulu Manali. Due to the long travel, Ajith developed backache. Also, he suffered fever. Despite of his ill health, Ajith has given an unmatched performance in the longer than usual fight sequence.

The movie crew appreciated the professional dedication in Ajith. Meantime, the unit is apparently left with just 5 days of shoot left before a total wrap up.

Ajith’s 53rd film is not yet titled and the shooting is presently going on the beautiful landscapes of Kulu-Manali for their next brief schedule. This untitled movie of Ajith is directed by Vishnuvardan and the sources reveal that the release may fall on Independence Day, 15th August, 2013.

But anything can happen to either speed up the process or delay it, because the nature of filmmaking is well known to every one. The project is probably in its last leg of shooting before the dubbing and post-production duties take over. There is no official commitment has been given regarding the August 15 release date.

He tweeted that, “2nd teaser of Ajith-Vishnuvardhan film will be out before May 17th and it will be with the Title”. The movie features Ajith, Arya, Nayanthara, Taapsee, Rana Daggubati, Mahesh Manjrekar and Atul Kulkarni. Music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
