Suza’s big ticket

Ajith has just completed the first schedule of his next film, which is directed by Siruthai Siva, with Tamannaah as female lead. The untitled film also has Vidharth playing Ajith’s brother in the cast. The storyline has been kept under wraps and the shoot has been going on pretty much hush hush in Andhra Pradesh.

Now CE has learnt that one more actor has joined the film. Chennai-based Suza Kumar, who debuted opposite Sivakarthikeyan in Dhanush’s production Ethirneechal, has now bagged a major role in the film.

Disclosing the news, Suza says, “I play the girlfriend of Vidharth, who is Ajith’s brother in the film. I’m very excited and I said yes to the project as soon as I heard it was an Ajith film. I admire him a lot and feel blessed to work with him so early in my career.” Suza has just returned after shooting the first portion of her role and for her, the most memorable moment was meeting Ajith. She gushes, “I met him the first day and got to talk with him. He was very encouraging and blessed me. He is one of the sweetest and humblest persons I have ever met. In fact, I still can’t get over the fact that I actually got to meet him.”

 From a Dhanush production to an Ajith film, looks like Suza’s career is headed in the right direction.

Ajith Kumar changed his style

‘Ajith 53’with Vishnuvardan is nearing completion. So Ajith has already started shooting for his next one with Siruthai director Siva. The shoots of this untitled movie is happening in Rajahmundry, Andhra. The movie has Ajith, Tamannah, Santhanam in the star cast.

The scenes involving the trio were shot recently in Urvashi Theater, a well known center of shooting in Rajamundhry. The latest buzz is that, Thala was sporting a different style of moustache and beard and got rid of the salt and pepper style. Ajith also has sported a dark black hair style for this movie. The actor was also clad in Dhoti and shirt and they all give him a unique look.

Along with Ajith, Tamannah looked in a traditional saree and Santhanam was also rocking with the traditional look. ‘The movie is not the usual Ajith movie, it is a village oriented flick’ said by source .

Ajith starts work with Siva project

Ajith's 53rd flick with Vishnuvardan is in its final stage of shooting and Ajith has shifted towards the next movie with Siva of ‘Siruthai’ fame. Now the project is schedule to take off and the actor has joined the shoot of this movie which is supposed to take place on Wednesday (June 5) in Rajahmundry. It will be a 10 day schedule and Ajith is familiar with Rajahmundry where he had shot ‘Kireedam’, a few years back.

In Vishnuvardan’s flick, Ajith is said to have shed some weight and sporting a hunky look. But the next movie with Siva will have an altogether different look, as this will be an out and out comedy movie. The movie stars Tamannah, Santhanam, Vidhu Raman, Vidharth and Abhinaya to its cast. It has music scored by Devi Sri Prasad.

Now ‘Thala’ Ajith is doing two untitled films referred by fans as ‘Thala 53’ and ‘Ajith 53’ for the Vishnuvardhan directed film and ‘Thala 54’ for Shiva’s movie. Both of the films are different in genre, Vishnuvardhan’s film is an action entertainer while Shiva’s flick is a mass family entertainer.

Director Hari wants Ajith to be a Don again

Director Hari who is currently awaiting the release his Singam 2 has reportedly said that he has a story ready for Ajith. This is a film on a don and being a very powerful role, it could only be essayed either by Ajith or the Superstar Rajinikanth, he said. Hari, who is busy with the post production of the Suriya starrer Singam 2, has said that though he is ready with the story, he is not sure when it will materialize as Ajith is very busy at the moment. The director added that Ajith also knows that he has story ready for him.

A R Rahman to sing for Ajith-Yuvan

We all know that, Yuvan Shankar Raja crooned an interesting track for AR Rahman in Dhanush’s Mariyaan. Now reports say that AR Rahman will be singing a song in Ajith’s movie for Yuvan Shankar Raja.

This is in Vishnuvardhan's untitled movie. It is said that when Yuvan Shankar Raja approached AR Rahman with the offer, he agreed to it immediately. The film was tentatively titled as ‘Valai’ but the makers denied it. It is the 53rd film for Thala Ajith and fans call this movie as ‘Thala 53’ and ‘Ajith 53’. This is a multi-starrer movie with Ajith, Arya, Nayanthara, Taapsee in the lead.

The climax of this film was recently shot in Kulu Manali and Ajith Kumar has performed a breathtaking stunt sequences for this movie. The makers of this flick are targeting for release on August 15. A teaser of the film has been released on Ajith’s birthday and the movie is yet to be titled.
